This movie was generally entertaining with good special effects, as expected, but I felt it was not as good as the earlier Mummy movies. It failed to hold my attention at times, the dialogue got a little goofy now and then, and casting was not as good as it might have been.rnrnI love Brandon Fraser, but I kept wishing Rachel Weisz had opted to reprise her role. It just wasn't the same with the actress who replaced her. I didn't much care for the actor who played their young adult son either.rnrn Not a terrible movie, but it fell short of my expectations. Save it for a rental on a rainy night.rnrn

I think it was the best Mummy! And the it was funny!! You want to watch some thing to make you laught go and watch this move

I keep reading positive reviews for this film and I ask myself if they saw the same movie I did?
The 3rd installment of this franchise is BORING. Completely phoned in, vapid script, horrible direction, lousy cinematography. Rick O'Connell (Brendan Fraser) magically looks to be about only 5 years older than his college-age child, Alex O'Connell(Luke Ford),its so implausible.
Ri cks wife, Evelyn (Mario Bello),although a gifted actress (see A History of Violence) is totally miscast in this film. Ford, who gets equal screen time has the appeal of an ashtray. The only good character is Lin (Isabella Leong) who is a feisty beauty and the only thing worth watching in this film. Emperer Han (Jet Li) morphs into a dragon for all about 2 minutes of the entire snooze-fest.( I guess they forgot the title was DRAGON Emperor)
Some decent CGI, but the depiction of Shangra-LA (spelling?) was really, REALLY bad, like it was an afterthought to throw it in and didn't have the $$ or time to work on it. The jokes are stupid, the dialog is stupid, the story is as vague as it is pointless. I actually fell asleep two times during the movie.
Wait for it to come out on the cable.

I had high expectations for this movie. From the trailers of this movie it looked like it was going to be great. I went to this movie opening night. It was not as good as I thought it was going to be. It was average.

I'm sorry to say that this movie was a big disappointment, the story line was interesting, along with the graphics but I expected a lot more from Jet Li's role (that's the only reason I went to see the movie), and all together the movie seemed rushed.

I believe that comedy and adventure does work well together.
I was impressed with the supernatural powers used by Jet Li.
The animation was impressive.

Ok, this is what it is, another Mummy movie. If you enjoyed the first two then, you'll probably like this one. Jet Li was a good pick for the Mummy but, he really didn't fulfill my 'Jet Li' needs!! I felt that Brendan's son character was too old to his son but, I guess that's Hollywood for you. Now, with the son, I felt they took that premise from Indiana Jones, in fact, Indy's son was more believable age wise!! I have always felt that the Mummy series was trying to copy the Indy series and this one was the biggest wanna-be. That aside, it's worth checking out if you are not a big Indy fan, like me.

This movie was quite enjoyable. The plot could have been better but I did like it. The beginning bored me but it got better as it progessd on. It seemed lie more humorous than adventurious. I liked Maria Bello than Rachel Weisz. She seemed to be tougher than Rachel. I like Brendan Fraser. the movie would be nothing without him.

After reading reviews of this movie I was not sure about seeing It. I went to this movie opening night. It was not anything special. I think I would of enjoyed It more If there was more drama and less comedy. The scenery of this movie was fantastic. The action scenes In the movie were decent but nothing special.
